How to Order

How to Order a T-Shirt Quilt

(Please read carefully, and complete the order form and the customer agreement form)

~ Instructions ~

Your t-shirts should be washed and dried without the use of fabric softener or dryer sheets, (otherwise the stabilizer will not adhere to the back of the t-shirts). T-shirts that have been in storage for an extended period of time should be freshly laundered.

Please send the entire t-shirt, uncut. It is best to use t-shirts that are in good condition.

Imperfections such as stains and tears will show up, but some tears are mendable and we will do our best to fix them.

Some shirts have several printed designs on the front and back or a sleeve or pocket. If this is the case label what you want included in your quilt.

Unused portions of the t-shirt will be discarded, ( backs, sleeves, etc.).

~Important details~

FOR A STANDARD QUILT -- Some t-shirts have small printed designs on the front or on a pocket. If you are short on blocks for a standard grid design, a block can be created from 1 or more of these small designs. There will be an additional $15 charge for this service. Be sure and let us know if that is your desire.

FOR A CUSTOM QUILT - Some shirts have more than one printed area. Each printed area that is used in a custom-sized quilt design counts as one shirt, regardless of the size of the design. This includes the small insignias on pockets or fronts of shirts.

FOR ANY QUILT - If you want your shirts arranged in a certain order please pin a number on each shirt, (sticky notes fall off), numbering left to right as if you were reading a book. A Polaroid photo, or a digital e-mail, also helps.

SLEEVE - A sleeve may be added for hanging your quilt. The cost is $30 per quilt. Please specify on the order form.

~How to order ~

1.   Print order form and customer agreement form or contact us to request forms.
2.   Complete both forms. Contact us with questions or special requests.
3.   Send them with your t-shirts and a 50% deposit. See order form for payment methods.
4.   We will contact you when we receive your t-shirts and discuss details at that time.

~ Select Fabric and Colors ~

Specify your fabric and color choices on the order form.
Please include specific ideas you may have for planning the design or for color combinations on your quilt.
If you want to supply your own fabric contact us for yardage amounts. We only work with premium 100% cotton fabric.

Quilt sizes are figured on a 14" block. with sashing and borders.
This determines the finished size of the quilt.

If you need a size that is different from the standard quilt size listed then specify your quilt size, (in inches), on the order form.
